ODD exists to bring creative and cultural fields closer to business and wider society — while building better conditions for creative work itself.
Finland has no shortage of creative talent. What is often missing is what gets built around it.
Creative work is still rebuilt project by project, production by production and funding cycle by funding cycle. At the same time, the people shaping culture and the people shaping business, institutions and public life spend surprisingly little time working together. ODD works on both problems: creating more continuity around creative work, and more situations where different kinds of expertise can actually meet.

The first ODDfest in 2025 brought together more than 2,600 participants, 350+ contributors and 70+ partners. In 2026, ODD expanded into a city-wide Creative Week, the first ODDference and a year-round physical space in Vallila.
